Clare Lopez is a senior level consultant, strategic policy and intelligence expert with a focus on security and national defense. She has over thirty years of experience in government, the Intelligence Community, and the private sector and worked extensively in human intelligence analysis, counterintelligence and red cell war gaming and intelligence operations for the CIA. She is also a senior fellow Center for Security Policy and at the The Clarion Fund and a member of the Board on the Congressional Task Force on National and Homeland Security (for the EMP Threat).
Clare Lopez has over thirty years of experience in government, the Intelligence Community, and the private sector. She is a well-known University lecturer, public events speaker, and published author on Middle East, Iran, Islam, security/defense, WMD, and transnational terrorism issues. She has worked extensively in human intelligence analysis, counterintelligence and red cell war gaming and intelligence operations for the CIA. She holds an active secret level security clearance and M.A. in International Relations from the Maxwell School, Syracuse University.
Ms. Lopez also serves as the Deputy Director for the U.S. Counterterrorism Advisory Team and as an Instructor to the U.S. Special Forces members at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina as part of her work for Helios Global, Inc. She also works as a HUMINT Analysis Instructor at C-HET Solutions, Inc. and provide Spanish-language training and mentoring expertise in intelligence analysis to U.S. military partner students under U.S. SOUTHCOM contract.
