John Larkin has been a journalist and corporate communications specialist for the last 20 years. He was a political journalist in Australia up until he relocated to Asia to write as a foreign correspondent, working for such publications as Time Magazine in South Korea and the Wall Street Journal in India. Biography:
John Larkin has been a journalist and corporate communications specialist for the last 20 years. He was a political journalist in Australia up until he relocated to Asia to write as a foreign correspondent, working for such publications as Time Magazine in South Korea, the Wall Street Journal in India. He also served as the head of corporate communications for Macquarie Bank in South Korea and a communications consultant, specializing in issues management and communications strategy for the World Health Organization in Manila. He was most recently the head of public relations in the Asia region for State Street Bank & Trust in Hong Kong.

He was recognized for outstanding journalism not only from Time Magazine and the Wall Street Journal, but also from the Society of Publishers in Asia, winning the Award for Editorial Excellence in 2003 and 2005. He was the director of the Australia-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in South Korea, and he was also the Seoul Bureau Chief for the Far Eastern Economic Review magazine. His publications have also been featured in the Sydney Morning Herald, the London Daily Telegraph, USA Today, The Sunday Telegraph, and others.
