Michael Barrett is co-founder and partner at Diligent Innovations. He is a national security and risk management expert with senior strategy-development experience for the White House, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Secretary of Defense. He has founded two successful strategy consulting firms with a variety of clients, and helped designed large-scale risk assessments for the National Capital Region.
Biography:
Michael Barrett is co-founder and partner at Diligent Innovations. He is an ational security and risk management expert with senior strategy-development experience for the White House, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Secretary of Defense. He has founded two boutqiue strategy consulting firms with a variety of public and private sector clients on risk, resiliency and homeland security matters.
He designed a new approach to large-scale risk assessment for the National Capital Region and is the co-author of a New York Times bestseller on counter-terrorism and work on securing global supply chains, as well as a wide variety of journal and newspaper articles. Interviews with him have appeared on ABC News, CNN, Fox News, FRONTLINE, MSNBC and the Washington Post, among other publications and broadcast media.
He is a former Fulbright Scholar to Ankara, Turkey and helped judge the Wikistrat Grand Strategy Competition.
