Noah Raford is an urban planner specializing in scenario planning and strategy development. He was a strategist and scenario planner at GBN/Monitor and a PhD researcher for crowdsourcing “large-scale futures systems” at MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning. He has worked at or advised a variety of academic, private, and non-governmental organizations.
Biography:
Noah Raford is a PhD researcher for crowdsourcing “large-scale futures systems” at MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning.
He has also worked with the London School of Economics Complexity Program, the USC Annenberg School Scenarios Lab, the International Futures Forum, and the James Martin 21st Century School at Oxford. He as the former North American Director of Space Syntax Limited, an Honorary Research Fellow and occasional design critic at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University Colllege London, a senior research advisor at the Prince’s Foundation for Built Environment, a consultant to Kings College London’s Humanitarian Futures Programme, a researcher for the Traffic Safety Center at the University of California Berkely, and a founding partner of Sensitive Dynamics Ltd.
