Dr. Robert Kelly is an assistant professor in the Political Science and diplomacy Department of Pusan National University. He specializes in international relations, political theory, international security, and international organization in East Asia. His publications include the European Journal of International Relations, the KNDU Research Institute for National Security Affairs, Geopolitics, Korean Journal of International Relations, Development in Practice, the International Studies Review, Perspectives on Terrorism and other journals.

His commentary also appears in a variety of Korean news publications and he has participated in a variety of international conferences on international security, international relations, and East Asian topics.
