Biography:
Shaukat Qadir is a retired brigadier in the Pakistan Army, who has been on the faculty of Pakistan’s infantry school, its Command and Staff College, and the War Wing at its National Defence University. He was also Vice President of the Islamabad Policy Research Institute and has been visiting faculty at Fatima Jinnah University.

His columns have appeared in the The National in the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan’s Daily Times, and his commentaries have also appeared in a variety of dailies and journal publications around the world.
