Biography:
Dr. Walid Phares serves as advisor to the Anti-Terrorism Caucus in the US House of Representatives and is a Co-Secretary General of the Transatlantic Legislative Group on Counter Terrorism, where he briefs and testifies to the US Congress, the European Parliament and the United Nations Security Council. He also consults and lectures to a variety of defense agencies and counter terrorism advisory boards in both the US and Europe. He has served on the Advisory Board of the Task Force on Future Terrorism at the Department of Homeland Security as well as the Advisory Task Force on Nuclear Terrorism.

He also teaches at the National Defense University, and previously taught at Florida Atlantic University. He has published several books in English, Arabic, and French on Middle Eastern politics and terrorism. He is a Fox News Middle East and Terrorism expert, and was previously an NBC terrorism analyst. He appears in both international and Arabic broadcast and print media.
