Professor of Political Science at the College of Coastal Georgia

Professor Wege worked in Washington D.C. with Research Services at the Library of Congress and began his teaching career at Brunswick College, part of the University of Georgia System (now called the College of Coastal Georgia), in September of 1989. He is now a tenured full professor at that institution. He has a variety of publications related to sub-national political violence with a focus on terrorism-related intelligence matters, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran.

Biography

Professor Wege earned a BA degree in History from Portland State University in 1982 and was awarded a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Wyoming in 1984. He began Ph.D. work at the University of Idaho in 1985 and, after completing all of the coursework and written examinations for the Ph.D. advanced to candidacy and designated ABD (all but dissertation) in 1987.
