BECOME AN EXPERT

Wikistrat operates a global network of over 5,000 experts who are invited to participate in projects based on their areas of expertise—mostly remotely. Additionally, members of our expert community are regularly invited to take part in various events, including interactive simulations, webinars and exclusive Q&A sessions.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Wikistrat invites motivated BA and MA students and recent graduates who are passionate about geopolitics to join its exclusive internship program. Over the course of three months, interns will have the opportunity to provide critical support in nearly every area of Wikistrat’s operations, receive detailed feedback on their work, and develop their skills as future professionals in consulting and geopolitical analysis.

Candidates should have proficiency in English, and have a demonstrable background in international relations, political science, economics, or a related field. Candidates should possess strong writing, editing, oral communication and analytical skills, and be detail-oriented, organized and creative.

This is a remote position that requires an average of 10 weekly hours.

HEAD OF AFRICA COMMUNITY

Wikistrat is seeking a seasoned analyst to lead our Africa Community of experts. The successful candidate should have substantial experience in African affairs across domains such as geopolitics, economics, technology and social dynamics, paired with a strong analytical background.

Responsibilities include curating and leading projects, engaging with our expert community to drive insightful discussions, workshops and webinars to foster a deeper understanding of the African landscape, and collaborating with global teams to integrate findings and deliver comprehensive analysis to clients, aiding in their strategic decision making.

You will also play a key role in expanding Wikistrat’s African expert network and client base, identifying opportunities for engagement and collaboration within the region, and will serve as a point of contact for expertise on African matters both within and outside the organization, representing Wikistrat in relevant forums and discussions.

Requirements include a minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field with a focus on African regions, an advanced degree in international relations, political science, economics or a related field, and proficiency in English, with exceptional analytical, communication and project management skills. Knowledge of additional languages spoken in Africa would be an asset.
