PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: June 25, 2026

Wikistrat Inc. ("Wikistrat," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at www.wikistrat.com (the "Site").

This Privacy Policy describes the personal information collected through the Site, the purposes for which it is used, the service providers that process it on Wikistrat's behalf, and the rights and choices available to individuals.

This policy applies to the Site only. Where an organization or individual engages Wikistrat as a client, the handling of information under that engagement is governed by the separate agreement between the parties.

Use of the Site, or submission of information through its forms, indicates agreement with the practices described in this policy.

Information collected

Information provided directly. Wikistrat collects the information entered into its forms. The specific fields depend on the form:

  • Contact form: first name, last name, email address, subject, and message.

  • Expert application: first name, last name, email address, subject, LinkedIn profile, and message.

  • Internship application: first name, last name, email address, subject, LinkedIn profile, message, and details of AI-related experience.

  • Report download form: first name, last name, email address, how the individual heard about the report, institution or company, and position or role. Report download forms are hosted by a third-party form service (Wufoo) on a separate page.

Information collected automatically. When the Site is visited, the hosting platform (Wix) and its operational services automatically receive certain technical information required to deliver and secure the Site, such as IP address, browser and device type, and basic usage data. This information supports rendering the Site, monitoring performance, and protecting against errors and abuse.

Wikistrat does not knowingly collect payment information through the Site, and the Site is not directed to children.

Use of information

Information provided through the forms is used to:

  • respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form;

  • review and process expert and internship applications;

  • deliver requested reports and confirm their download;

  • on infrequent occasions, contact individuals who downloaded a report to propose a possible collaboration (this outreach can be declined at any time by emailing the address below); and

  • operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Automatically collected technical information is used to host and maintain the Site, measure and protect its performance, and keep it functioning correctly.

Information is not used for third-party advertising, and personal information is not sold.

Storage and disclosure of information

Personal information is not shared with third parties for their own purposes, and it is not sold.

Wikistrat uses a limited number of trusted service providers that process information on its behalf, under its instructions, solely to operate the Site and its forms:

  • Wix hosts the Site and provides its forms, analytics, and operational infrastructure.

  • Wufoo (a third-party form service) hosts the report download forms.

  • Google stores form submissions in Google Sheets and supports internal operations.

  • Usercentrics provides the cookie consent banner on the Site.

These providers may use the information only to deliver their services to Wikistrat. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to enforce Wikistrat's rights, or to protect the safety of any person.

Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies necessary for its operation, together with a consent management tool (Usercentrics) that allows visitors to accept or decline non-essential cookies. The Site does not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Where consent is required, non-essential technologies are not loaded until consent is given through the consent banner.

Preferences can be managed at any time through the consent banner, and cookies can be controlled or blocked through browser settings, although some features may not function correctly if essential cookies are disabled.

Do Not Track. Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. No common industry standard governs responses to these signals, and the Site does not currently respond to them. Because the Site runs no advertising or third-party analytics trackers, visitor activity is not tracked across other websites.

Data retention

Personal information is retained for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to an inquiry, evaluating an application, or managing report distribution, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, operational, and record-keeping needs. Once no longer needed, information is deleted or de-identified.

Rights and choices

Depending on their location, individuals may hold rights over their personal information, including the right to:

  • access the personal information held about them;

  • correct inaccurate information;

  • request deletion of their information;

  • object to or restrict certain processing; and

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

These rights, and requests to decline collaboration outreach following a report download, can be exercised by emailing info@wikistrat.com. Wikistrat will respond within the period required by applicable law. Individuals may also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

For individuals in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom: contact and application information is processed in order to respond to and act on the relevant request, and report download and limited outreach information is processed on the basis of Wikistrat's legitimate interest in distributing its work and developing professional relationships, balanced against the rights of the individual. Where processing relies on consent, that consent may be withdrawn at any time.

International transfers

Wikistrat is a fully remote company. It is incorporated in the United States and serves clients worldwide, and its personnel work from various countries rather than from a central office. Information submitted through the Site may be transferred to, stored in, and accessed from the United States and other countries where Wikistrat's service providers operate and where its personnel are located. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in the individual's location. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied to such transfers.

California residents

California's Online Privacy Protection Act requires disclosure of the categories of personal information collected (listed above), the categories of third parties with which it is shared (the service providers listed above), and the handling of changes to this policy (described below). California residents may request to review or update the personal information held about them by emailing info@wikistrat.com. Personal information is not sold.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When it is, the effective date at the top of the page will be revised and the updated version posted on the Site. Significant changes will be made clear on this page. Periodic review of this policy is encouraged.
