The selected digital officer is expected to take the lead on project work, reporting directly to both the CEO and to the Chairman, and juggle multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously. Successful candidates will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and have experience with digital marketing, building landing pages and email campaigns, publishing blog posts, and editing marketing videos and podcasts.
Responsibilities

Participate in strategic planning for future marketing campaign initiatives that incorporate traditional and digital communications channels and platforms, and oversee the entire process to execution.

Oversee the development and maintenance of all of Wikistrat’s digital platforms, including but not limited to the website, blog, podcast, newsletter, and social media.

Develop, manage, and execute digital campaigns for Wikistrat’s simulations, as well as for select corporate and non-profit clients.

Manage multiple work streams for projects, as well as manage a team of interns by setting priorities and delegating to adhere to timelines and meet deadlines.

Write and develop campaign plans and communications materials to coordinate and conduct community outreach.

Forge connections with reporters to place and inform stories about Wikistrat’s work.

Work closely with other internal departments on cross-discipline projects.

Work with senior practitioners across the firm on business planning and new business development, including pitch presentations, lead generation, and networking.
Qualifications
-
2+ years’ experience in digital marketing.

Experience building landing pages on Wix
-
Experience developing and executing campaign plans; experience developing and executing communications plans and media relations strategy (a plus).

Experience using digital communications and social media platforms.

Familiarity with digital marketing management platforms.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines with a willingness to be part of a team working toward a common goal.

Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining high-quality work and careful attention to detail.

Proficiency in Google’s suite of applications.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, political science, public affairs, public policy, another relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiarity with any of the following is a significant advantage: Buffer, Descript, Confluence.

Fluency in English. A native level is not required.

Remote work may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
