What's a Riskathon?
The Riskathon is a unique, week-long collaborative simulation where international relations students and global experts join forces to analyze and forecast the most pressing risks to global stability in the coming year.
Now in its 10th year, this flagship collaboration between Wikistrat, a global crowdsourced consultancy, and NYU’s Political Risks and Prediction course explores potential threats to global stability from 2026 through 2030

Last Year's Event
In December 2024, during the 9th Annual NYU Riskathon, students from NYU, RSIS, and Reichman University collaborated with experts from Wikistrat and The Digital Economist.
Together, 74 students and 58 leading experts identified more than 300 significant risks spanning both near-term (2025) and medium-term (2030) scenarios.
