Dr. Sohail Mahmood is an independent political analyst and is currently serving as and Advisory Board Member at the Centre for Geopolitics & Security in Realism Studies (CGSRS) in London UK. In addition, Dr. Mahmood is an Editorial Board Member at the International Affairs Forum Center for International Relations (CIR) in Washington D.C. He is a Professor & Board Member in the Political Science Department at Faculty UniVirtuelle, Methodologica Universitas in Paris.
Some of Dr. Mahmood’s other work includes being an Editorial and Review Board Member of the American Journal of Social and Management Sciences, a Member of the Advisory Council at the European Centre for Information and Security (ECIPS), and an International Advisor at the Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIES) in Greece. He is also the author of several books, monographs and research articles on Middle East and South Asian politics and governance and development issues. Dr. Sohail Mahmood has taught for nearly 30 years in various universities of Pakistan and the U.S and has worked as a consultant for the World Bank, CIDA, SDC, IUCN and UNDP.
