Lisa Daftari is an award-winning journalist with expertise in the Middle East, specifically in counter-terrorism, Iran and the Iranian American community. Presently, she appears as a guest commentator on the Fox News Channel, and frequently appears on shows such as Fox & Friends, Happening Now, Hannity, Geraldo at Large, Women’s Power Panel, and Red Eye. She is also a columnist for Front Page Magazine where she serves as the publication’s Iran analyst. Lisa does interviews in Spanish and Persian in addition to English.

Lisa has been featured on CBS, NBC, PBS, the Washington Post, Voice of America, Front Page Magazine, the Washington Times, Russia Today, Fox News and others. Lisa does interviews in Spanish, English and Persian. Her influential thesis documentary film about an underground political youth movement called Marze Por Gohar:The Struggle to Bring Democracy to Iran was requested to be shown to Congress during a subcommittee hearing.
While working for NBC as an associate producer for the investigative unit, she helped break the story of the 2005 Los Angeles Islamist bomb plot. Lisa was also selected as a fellow to the Carnegie and Knight News 21 investigative journalism initiative, and her report was presented on PBS for a 9/11 anniversary show.
