Shortly after its invasion of Ukraine, Russia cut off gas supplies to most of Europe, plunging the continent into the most severe energy crisis in decades. Soaring gas prices in Europe have led to protests and increased criticism of governments across the continent over rising costs of living. As it prepares for a cold winter, Europe is facing a deepening energy crisis. To assess the significance and likely impact of this energy crisis, Wikistrat asked two leading energy experts, Mr. Robin Mills and Dr. Cyril Widdershoven, for their analysis of this issue.
